Lost Print # 10 Clue Solved, Now We Wait For The URL

Lost Print # 10 Clue Solved, Now We Await The Artist & URL Lost Print # 10 Clue Solved, Now We Await The Artist & URL

Here is the latest clue for the next image in the LOST Series. There is no word of who the featured artist is for this release. What we do know is that it has something to do with Ron Herman and one of his stores, either the Tokyo or Melrose locations. Theory here is that it will be a Japan drop, I find that hard to believe. Logistically L.A. makes waaaay more sense. We will see..

Here are two awesome prints from artist Edwin Ushiro, his art is so deep with textures. I love his technique a lot. Definitely some one to watch out for in the future. These two prints are being released through PaperTiger. The above image is called 'Time Therefore Remained Idle Without Light Extruding Acceptance' and is Ushiro's interpretation of an ancient Japanese ghost story involving a faceless ghost who haunts passengers who attempt to help her. The ghost story traveled from Japan to Hawaii and has now infused itself in Hawaiian folklore. This 18 x 24 inch giclee print has an edition size of ONLY 5, comes signed and numbered for $250 each. The image below is called 'Rediscovery Of The Infinite Stars Inside the Shell'. It is Ushiro's self portrait from his September 2009 solo exhibition at LeBasse Projects. This sweet portrait is of Edwin and his longtime companion and pet Rusty. It is a 12 x 16 inch giclee print with an edition size of 25, comes signed and numbered for $125 each.

    Obey 'Lily Flower' Print PREVIEW

Obey 'Lily Flower' Preview Obey 'Lily Flower' Preview

    Rock Hill Preservation

My parents grew up in Rock Hill S.C. which is a beautiful town in a mostly rural part of upstate S.C. I worked with my Uncle Wade Fairey to create this art to benefit Historic Rock Hill preservation. The story of the Courtney Spider Lily art is that it is a rare flower thriving in the Courtney Island section of the Catawba river. The art is designed to promote water quality on the Catawba River which has been greatly affected by “run off from urban development”, bird – wildlife habitation and “availability of movement along the Catawba”, which has resulted in a 100’ buffer on either side of the river. There are many individuals and groups interested in seeing the Catawba remain a lovely river. Print and Fine Art Auction information coming soon. -Shepard
