These are the new pieces by artist Mr Brainwash. These are all originals on canvas or wood and will be on display in February 2010 at MBW's New York show. My favourite is the Charlie Chaplin 'Life Is Beautiful' piece, I would love that as a print! Funny out of all these pieces, the Madonna doesn't belong!

Here are some stunning pieces by the artist duo called Faile. Above is the bronze statue for 'Scuba Horse', this is 12.25 x 9 x 11.5 inches in size and with an edition size of 8 it has a beautiful gun metal black patina finish for $12,000 each.The detail on this piece is stunning.

Andy Warhol 'Eight Elvises' Sells For 100 Million Dollars - Seriously!!

One month after Andy Warhol’s 200 One Dollar Bills sells for $43.8 million at auction, The Economist has reported that Warhol's 'Eight Elvises' painting sold privately for $100 million– a number that only Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Willem De Kooning and Gustav Klimt has achieved for a single sale.  It is a unique piece and measures 12 feet. With one of the most vibrant markets of any artist, Warhol continues to be as relevant as he’s ever been. This particular painting merges the most popular aspects of Andy Warhol and his fascinations. It has fame - the subject is Elvis Presley, one of the most famous American icons. It demonstrates the repetition of imagery. The painting is done silver, his favorite color. The threat of death is implied through the pointing of the gun at the viewer.  Finally, it is from 1963, a vintage Warhol year. The previous owner, Annibale Berlingieri, a Roman collector, had the piece for 40 years.  The painting was sold in the autumn of 2008 in a deal brokered by Philippe Ségalot.  It is unknown who the new owner is, but it is safe to say that they are probably very rich and lucky.

Dave Kinsey 'Capital Punishment' + 'Love Me Love Me Not' Paintings

WOW, what a killer painting by artist Dave Kinsey, this is part of the Joshua Liner Scope Miami art show from December 2nd - December 6th. Damn, I hope these turn into a prints! Above is called 'Capital Punishment' and it is a 36 x 50 inch mixed media on canvas. Below is also another KILLER painting called 'Love Me Love Me Not' it is a 26 x 26 inch mixed media on canvas. Hayato Nishimaki 'Ghost #0.02' Painting Available

Here is an awesome ghosty painting from artist Hayato Nishimaki. This painting was part of the Takashi Murakami curated art show at called 'Geisha Art Show' in Tokyo. This painting is called '#0.02 Ghost' and it is an 8.5 x 13.5 inch ink and acrylic gouache original painting, comes signed by the artist for $400.

Mr Brainwash Show In NYC February 2010

Mr Brainwash "Following his recent trip to NYC, Mr Brainwash decided to take a bite of the Big Apple and do a show there in February 2010. The location and exact opening date will be revealed soon.
